Club Maritima Puerto del Carmen

Postby syd312r » Wed 23 Aug, 2006 1:22 am

Hello Patrisha,

The complex is located in a residential area but its only about 6/7 mins and your at the main road.

We stayed at the Club Maritima January 2005. We were there for the week and really enjoyed it, mind you the January brilliant sunshine helped. The complex is best decribed as small and friendly.

We had room 107 and we were delighted as there was no room above us, so no noisy furniture being dragged around. It was the end apartment nearest to the pool, the rest are two story high. Our apartment was so very well equipped and spacious. Absolutely spotlessly clean.

There are many bar/restaurants to choose from, it's about 4 mins to the nearest supermarket. I Have lots of photos I will certainly email them to you.

Kindest Regards
Fran

Hi there, I have booked an exchange into the Maritima.Does anyone have any pics they could email to me.Is it very far from restaurants etc? Also is it sunny around the whole pool area as I understand there are no loungers on the balconies.
Do the balconies have chairs and tables? Does anyone know what TV channels there are.i am a bit worried as i heard the resort is in a built up area, can anyone reasure me about the resort please?

Hi, Ive not stayed at Maritima but have visited there as they are part of my home group. Check their website at www.resort-solutions.co.uk/maritima
They are only one road back from the beach and a short walk from the main bars shops etc. It is a longer but still easy walk to the old town area. The resort also has a good dive shop.
I dont know what has been completed in the town this year, but it may still be under construction on the sea front. Last year the fireworks were cancelled on new years eve . There is also a lot of new build on the inland side of 'Carmen'

Its worth checking out the Lanzarote forum for up to date local info.
Weve been there for Xmas for a few years so if you have any specific Qs, do ask.
