Cala Pi, Mallorca

Postby Julie » Sat 08 Mar, 2008 1:37 pm

We have just booked a 3-bed apartment at Cala Pi, Mallorca. In the past this resort has been on my wish-list as I have seen such good reviews. I know Sue has visited the resort, but unfortunately I cannot remember my username/password to get into the member reviews on MORPS to look up the report. I have also tried all our old e-mail addresses - but to no avail!

So any feedback on the resort and location would be great as there are some mixed reviews on Trip Advisor.

Thank you
Julie. 8)

We went to Cala Pi in 2004. It is located in a very quiet area with very few restaurants within walking distance. There is a small beach down a lot of steps and it was covered in some sort of sea weed so we didn't go in the sea.
Unless you want to spend every day around the pool you will need a car. It's very easy to drive there.
The resort itself was very nice quality although we were unhappy with the room we were allocated - it was in a shady corner and was very dark and the patio was on the main walkway through to Reception. There were two large pools.
Next morning, we accepted another room on the first floor which overlooked the road but it had a lovely balcony and views across to the sea. The road was so quiet we were never disturbed by traffic.
We have lovely memories of Cala Pi.
Have a great time.
