We went to Cala Pi in 2004. It is located in a very quiet area with very few restaurants within walking distance. There is a small beach down a lot of steps and it was covered in some sort of sea weed so we didn't go in the sea.
Unless you want to spend every day around the pool you will need a car. It's very easy to drive there.
The resort itself was very nice quality although we were unhappy with the room we were allocated - it was in a shady corner and was very dark and the patio was on the main walkway through to Reception. There were two large pools.
Next morning, we accepted another room on the first floor which overlooked the road but it had a lovely balcony and views across to the sea. The road was so quiet we were never disturbed by traffic.
We have lovely memories of Cala Pi.
Have a great time.
